Nyskabt is a Nordic indie-pop band.

The band has a strong focus on their live show, with the ambition that a concert should feel like a wondrous evening at the theatre.

The music draws threads to artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Blaue Blume and Ben Howard, and centres on Danish-language indie pop that is tender, emotional, intimate and grand in scale. The ambition is to create music that is easily accessible, but not necessarily easy to digest. The songs should be inviting to listen to, while at the same time not everything can be understood in an instant.

There has to be a skewed element in a song. Just a small detail: a silence that lasts a little too long, an unusual structure, or a dark and stormy lyric.
